Our Eastside Faceoff Lacrosse League (aka. "Fishlax"), is in its 8th year. We have 16 HS teams and 10 Youth - MS teams participating in our league. This year the league is by invitation. Returning teams and players sign up during November.

Congratulations to Milford's MS Boys for their second consecutive tourney victory in the 2nd annual Eastside Quick Stick tourney and to Coach Brad Copp who was named Tourney MVP because of how Milford plays such unselfish lacrosse as a result of his coaching.

Eastside Vision:
Provide a high quality competitive (pre-season) lacrosse league that prepares players for their regular seasons' with emphasis on use of solid lacrosse fundamentals, hustle, teamwork, field awareness and good sportsmanship; with the goal of emerging "healthy and sharp" for the start of the season.
There is no other pre-season lacrosse league like Eastside Fishlax in Cincinnati. Our players are great and our family-like league culture is lots of fun.

7 v 7 Short Sticks Only
Field Lacrosse Rules
Faceoff After Every Goal
Two Running Halves
No Body Checking – No Fighting**
Box Cages – Regular Goalie Gear
Equal Pressure – Poke Checks - Double Teaming*
Field Player Line Changes Every 3 Minutes
No One Handed (Wrap) Stick Checks
Player that commits a Personal Foul sits for a shift
Overtime - Sudden Victory Play
Game Nights:
Games staffed and coached by experienced Eastside league staff
Certified game officials. Goalies for every game.
Parents, coaches and family members are encouraged to come watch and enjoy the games.
Many people have been in our league for 5+ years, so it is like a family. Many good people.
Arrive early & carpool. Parking can be tight around CSN Arena.
* Legal Contact Defined
Equal pressure, double teaming, stick checks, and use of your body to pick up ground balls or tie players up is legal. This rule is aimed to ensure that there is no body checking or checking into the boards. We want players the in our pre-season league to be both more skilled and healthy for their regular seasons'. This is our clear stated league objective.
** Players that fight will be ejected from our league.
2025 Eastside Fishlax Lacrosse Pre-Season League: January 8- February 7, 2025 at TOCA-CSN Arena (5999 Meijer Dr. Milford, OH 45150)
Games are Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:00 and 8:00 PM, and Fridays 5:00-9:00 PM
Costs: $150 for Field Players and $45 for Goalies. Goalies are pooled and may be required to play multiple games. Certified Game Officials for all games. This is a boys lacrosse league.
High School = Grades 9-12 Play Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:00 & 8:00 PM
Youth = Grades 5&6, Middle School = Grades 7&8 Both Play Friday nights at 5:00 - 9:00 PM. One game per week.
Winter Pre-Season League Sign-up Instructions:
1. Select product below and complete payment process on this website
2. Send player info (Name, DOB, Grade, School, Position, Years Playing) to eastside.fishlax@gmail.com to receive player waiver form (new players only, returning players waivers are already on file)
3. Complete and return waiver form and await team and schedule assignment
